At campsite we take our writing implements extremely seriously. Usually tending towards the Pilot Precise or the ever pervasive Microns. We are also inclined towards utensils that have been built to be abused and still last. Taking your pen and note book with you everywhere starts to wear on a pen pretty quickly. The paper doesn’t need to make the long haul, but the pen does. The Impromptu Tactical Pen from Gerber is an American made field ready writing tool that I would definitely like to tote with me threw my daily battles. Or should I say meetings.
