My mom has always collected things, which included matchbooks, postcards, coasters and a bunch of other far more mundane things. So I definitely inherited an appreciation for a well designed coaster.
This new Kickstarter project launched by Jordan Mummert plans to produce a small line of coasters(6 to begin with) called Beer Press, which features distinct and beautiful letter-pressed designs. The typography and copy on each and every one is really smart and clean with a nice level of intricacy, which highlights the care and quality with which they are printed.
