Narcissa Identity

Restaurant branding and design are always some of my favorite projects to work on and also to view or experience. I am sure that stems from the constant push and pull between art and food during my childhood. That said I am in love with the branding which Triboro did for the Narcissa the new restaurant at The Standard East on Bowery. The combination of a hand penciled script and playful rough painted graphics pairs perfectly to create a nice textural identity. The design makes it feel as if the food will have some ingenuity of its own to showcase. I haven’t had a chance to try it yet, but I am hopefully it will live up to its design.
