There are only really two types of cleaners in New York City. The classic down the street type place, with machines and interiors last updated in the 1970s and the newer less affordable breed of sleek often “green” cleaners. Both of which are aesthetically displeasing in their own ways. One of the UK’s largest launderers Johnsons the Cleaners is no exception to this. Ben Vessey undertook this as a side project, and the outcome is some lively and lighthearted.
