Suburbia Mexicana is a social commentary project by photographer Alejandro Cartagena, which does a superb job of highlighting the decay in these landscapes and dying river beds surrounding Monterey, Mexico. While speaking to this problem Alejandro simultaneously captures so much vibrance in the nature that still exists there.
